RiceVision is a satellite-powered paddy monitoring platform designed to help farmers, researchers, and policymakers make data-driven decisions in rice cultivation. Using Sentinel-2 satellite data combined with machine learning models, RiceVision monitors crop health, growth stages, and field conditions in near real-time. The system analyzes vegetation indices and temporal patterns to detect changes in crop status, predict yield, and identify potential risks such as stress or disease early. Built with a scalable cloud-based architecture, the platform integrates Google Earth Engine, FastAPI, and modern web technologies to deliver insights through an interactive dashboard. Users can visualize their fields, receive alerts, and access actionable insights to improve productivity and reduce losses. RiceVision aims to modernize traditional farming practices by bringing precision agriculture to rice cultivation, improving food security, and supporting sustainable agricultural development.
