Today's food prices across Sri Lanka, free.

PriceLens turns Sri Lanka's public price data into something you can read in ten seconds and act on. Every morning it collects the official bulletins as they are published (the Central Bank's daily price report, the Department of Census and Statistics' weekly retail prices, the HARTI daily wholesale bulletin) and the shelf prices of Keells, Cargills, Glomark and SPAR. Every label is matched to one reviewed product list, so "B'Onion Imported" in a bulletin and "Big Onions" on a shelf compare as the same thing, and every price keeps the page and row it came from. What you can do with it: • See 130+ products with open-market, supermarket and wholesale prices side by side, and which seller is cheapest today. • Follow the price history of any product, seller by seller, over 30 days, 90 days or a year. • Search in English, Sinhala or Tamil; rough spelling and shelf wording both land on the right product. • Build a basket in real amounts (500 g, 2 kg) and see which store prices the whole list lowest. • Get dishes you can cook from what is in the basket, from a catalogue of 363 Sri Lankan recipes, with what is still to buy at today's cheapest price. Free, no account, nothing leaves your browser. Works on a phone, light and dark. Open source under MIT (TypeScript, Hono, React, PostgreSQL) and built for educational purposes: prices are as published and can differ at a stall or branch on the day.
