About
What it does: Duwamu is a web platform (with a mobile app planned later) that brings Sri Lanka’s run clubs and running events together in one place. Organizers post events for free. If they charge runners an entry fee, Duwamu adds a small flat fee per runner on top. Free events stay free. Runners get profiles that track their running, like total kilometres, with leaderboards, badges, teams and rewards to keep them motivated and coming back. Who it’s for: Run club organizers and event hosts who want an easy way to list events, take registrations and reach more runners without upfront costs. Runners in Sri Lanka, from casual joggers looking for a group to join to regulars who want to track progress and compete on leaderboards. Brands and sponsors who want to reach an active, health-focused audience through ad space and collaborations.
