For Windows users whose drive keeps filling up and who want to know why. DiskScout draws a drive as a map. Each block is a folder or file, sized by the space it uses and coloured by type, so the big things are easy to see. You can filter by size and type, for example video files over 500 MB. It also finds duplicate files by comparing contents, not names, and lists the identical files so you can check them. Deleting is careful: files go to the Recycle Bin by default, each one is compared byte for byte with a copy that stays, and the last copy is not removed unless you explicitly say so. An optional panel works with your own Claude installation. Anything it wants to delete or run waits for your approval. DiskScout is a single portable .exe of about 8 MB, with no installer. It is written in Go with no third-party code and is MIT licensed. It collects no usage data; the only network request is a version check, and only when you press the button. Tested on Windows 11. Inspired by SpaceSniffer, and not affiliated with it. A community project from AgentRuntime, separate from the AgentRuntime product.
