A keyboard-first file manager for Mac
Dev Tools
A native Mac app (macOS 15 or later), not a web app. Burrow is a file manager for Mac that I built because I kept leaving Finder for other apps: a terminal to run git, an image editor to resize a screenshot, a notes app for the notes that belonged next to the files anyway. It does what Finder does, and adds split panes (up to four), tabs you can save as workspaces, and a command palette (⌘K) for every command and folder. You can filter a folder as you type, preview files without opening them, and edit Markdown notes in place. It also has the tools I used to open other apps for: convert and resize images, remove a background, copy text out of a screenshot, review and commit git changes, a terminal per tab, and SFTP, which uses your own ssh config and keys. It's native (Swift), works offline and doesn't collect analytics. No S3 or cloud storage connections yet. Free for 14 days, then $19 once.
