Pitch.lk alternatives: where Sri Lankan founders can list their startup
Pitch.lk is a Sri Lankan site that shows startups to investors. Its homepage says it lists startups that have taken part in accelerators and incubators in Sri Lanka.
That makes it useful if you have been through a programme. If you have not, you need somewhere else to be listed. This page compares pitch.lk with BuiltList, Sri Lanka's startup and product directory, and with StartupSL, the national startup platform operated by ICTA.
| Feature | BuiltList | StartupSL | pitch.lk |

What pitch.lk offers
On 26 October 2026, the pitch.lk homepage showed 15 startups in two groups.
Some companies have a pitch-deck page with the problem, solution, founders, and investment details. The site also has a For Founders area with pages for pitching, raising, agreements, mentors and coaches, and accelerators.
What it does well: pitch.lk is built for investors. Showing the funding ask and stage up front makes it quick to see who is raising.
Things to know: the list is limited to programme participants and is small. Some pages show past dates. The Magic Bit deck page lists a target close of 1 December 2023.
- Ready to Seed: 6 companies tagged HATCH, most with a funding ask, for example US$500,000 for Magic Bit.
- Ideation: 9 companies tagged ICTA.
BuiltList
BuiltList lists products at every stage. You do not need to have been through an accelerator. Listing is free, and every submission is reviewed by a person. You sign in to submit.
As of 26 October 2026, BuiltList has 145 approved products. SaaS is the largest category (57), then Other (18), Education (15), Marketing (12), and Finance, Dev Tools and Open Source Projects (10 each). It also lists AI agents and bots with setup guides. Browse SaaS, fintech, AI companies, and edtech.
Visitors can use Ask AI search, browse startups in Sri Lanka by category, and see new products each month, such as October 2026. The Ideas section links ideas to founders building them.
BuiltList does not show funding asks. It is a product directory, not an investment platform.
StartupSL
StartupSL (startupsl.lk) is the national online platform for startups in Sri Lanka, operated by ICTA. Its homepage says bids for application software under Rs. 2 million are called only from startups published on StartupSL. It also lists finance, partnership, and market-access support. The 953 count is from the homepage archived on 12 April 2026. startupsl.lk returned 502 Bad Gateway on 26 October 2026, so that count has not been rechecked live.
See BuiltList vs StartupSL for a full comparison.
Accelerator programmes
Pitch.lk tags its listings HATCH or ICTA. These are programmes, not directories. ICTA's Spiralation, for example, is a six-month programme with seed funding, workshops, and a Demo Day. If you want the investor exposure pitch.lk offers, a programme is the way in.
Which should you use?
These are not either/or. Many founders use more than one.
- Been through ICTA or Hatch and raising? Pitch.lk may already list you.
- Want the government register and its benefits? Register on StartupSL.
- Want a public, reviewed product page at any stage? Submit to BuiltList. You sign in to submit.
